German Apple Cake

Cake Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp salt (i usually just put in a single tsp.)
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
3 eggs
1 cup salad oil
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups thinly sliced apples

Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 for 50 minutes in a flat cake pan. If you prefer to make cup cakes, use a cupcake pan and bake them for 25 minutes.

Frosting Ingredients :

8 oz cream cheese
3 T butter (room temp on both these)
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar.
combine and spread over cake or cup cakes.

Note;  This cake is really good chilled.
