Grandma's Potato Salad

2 lbs. potatoes (5 to 6 medium) boiled
1 cup Real Mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
chopped scallions (about 3 or 4) you can use chopped onion (1/3 cup) if not too strong instead of scallions
1 (Clausen) dill pickle, diced
1 tblsp sweet pickle relish
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped in or sliced for decoration (optional)

Cover potatoes with water in 4-quart saucepot; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 25 minutes. i scrub the potatoes and cook them with peels on. cool and peel and cut into 3/4 in chunks.
Combine Mayonnaise,sour cream, salt, and pepper in large bowl. Add potatoes,pickle, onion and toss gently. slice eggs over top. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
